I can clearly, without hesitation, say that this is one of the finest leather camera straps I have ever seen or owned. The leather is soft, the stitching is flawless. – Leica Rumors
Westminster Leather Camera Strap
We tried dozens of leathers before settling on Horween Chromexcel for our leather camera straps. We were looking for a leather that was durable and could take daily abuse, but that was soft on the interior of the neck pad. Some leathers seemed to work, but had terrible colour-transference. Our white shirt collars were left with stains. Horween Chromexcel is, in our minds, the only leather worth using for camera straps.
• Four sizes available – 100cm – (39 3/8″), 110cm – (43 5/16″), 120cm – (47 1/4″) and 130cm – (51 3/16″). Measured from split ring to split ring (key ring).
• Width: 1.5cm (Neck Pad – 4cm)
• Two colours available: black and brown.
• Black is accented with red stitching. Brown is accented with orange stitching.
• Horween Chromexcel leather. Known for its durability and softness, as well as its lack of colour-transference. Meaning, the dye will not rub off on your clothes.
• Recommended max weight is 5lbs. Although straps have been tested to support weight up to 30lbs without breaking or splitting.
• Lug mount. Fits all lug mount cameras, including Nikon, Leica, Olympus, Sony, Fujifilm and most 35mm vintage cameras.
• We use the finest quality 304 stainless steel split rings and provide you with multiple rings in case you ever need to replace them.

I can clearly, without hesitation, say that this is one of the finest leather camera straps I have ever seen or owned. The leather is soft, the stitching is flawless. As usual – you get what you pay for. Several websites have already labeled Hawkesmill as the best camera strap in the world and I have to agree 100%. – Read full review.
The Hawkesmill camera straps are incredibly well made, feel great, and overall have a nice appeal to them. They surely do their job and they do it rather well. If you want one strap that’s absolutely perfect and gives you room to make adjustments accordingly, then spring for these straps. – Read full review.
Overall I absolutely cannot fault this strap so can comfortably give it a 10/10, and I’m generally fussy. Sure the price is high but so is the quality. Buy one of these and you’ll probably not need another for at least ten years. – Read full review.

Beautiful leather and professional stitching. It was shipped from the UK on a Monday and it was at my front door in Canada by noon on Wednesday so excellent customer service!

I got this strap for my Nikon DF and I’m very pleased.
Really good upgrade from the factory default Nikon strap. Very comfortable on the neck, feels vey secure and ultra stylish.
What more could you want? Oh and seems to get better and better with age. Highly recommended.

I have been using my Westminster Strap now for a while now. I have traveled the world with it and it has never let me down. I am a fashion photographer, so style is very important to me. This strap is perfect and looks amazing!
This strap is extremely comfortable on your shoulders or neck, even after hours of use.
Do yourself a favor, and GRAB YOURSELF ONE!!!!!!

I’ve had the pleasure of using Hawkesmill’s Westminster strap on my Leica M7 over the last six months and love the craftsmanship, soft leather and detailing. The leather is nice against the skin, but also grips nicely when slung on one shoulder. A very nice strap to use and a bonus that it also looks great!

Of all the straps that I used, othing comes close to the level of comfort that this strap provides. Not only was the service prompt, the strap was shipped quickly to my home in no time! Upon opening the box I was greeted with the wonderful smell of leather, and a suberbly made camera strap that in no time was on my camera. Having just used it for a few days has made me realize just how uncomfortable my old strap was. The Westminster Strap is as every bit functional as it is beautiful. I am so impressed with the level of craftmanship that Hawkesmill provides that I have already ordered another strap for my wifes camera!

Bought their kensington strap first and it didn’t quite work for me. I emailed hawkesmill with a photo telling them that I loved the strap but it didn’t quite work for my camera. They rushed a different strap to me at a great discount.
Instead of returning my kensington I now own two Hawkesmill straps. Amazing customer service. These guys actually care about their customers and want them to use their gear. Can’t praise them enough.

Bought this camera strap because of the great reviews I found online from the various photography blogs and sites. Very happy with it. Not sure how it could get better than this!
I am not a camera strap aficionado by any stretch of the imagination. But I do know a quality product when I see it. And that’s exactly what this is.
Soft leather that seems like it will last forever. Been using it for a few weeks, shot a couple of weddings with it, and it still looks brand new. But it has gotten even softer!

I ordered this strap and 2 days later it was on my doorstep. Unfortunately, it was the wrong size. Not their fault. I emailed them and a couple of days later I had a replacement.
Amazing company. Thank you!

I knew it would be a nice strap, but it effortlessly exceeded my expectations.
You get used to things these days being built to a ‘good enough’ standard. Rarely does a manufacturer make something of better quality than it needs to be. Your Westminster strap is just such a product. It has little details which make all the difference.

I would like to impress with the finest strap.
I have been using Hawksmill’s Kensington strap in Leica M9-P for 6 months.
Impressed by the sense of unity and
comfort of camera and the body that supple leather produces.
I bought Westminster strap for the Leica M10 now.
The leather is soft, the stitching is flawless, the wide shoulder patch is perfect. Red stitching is fashionable.
In Japan, there is aesthetic sense of [ practical beauty ]. It is sharpened and disappears wastefully….Elegant, stylish, the ultimate beauty lives in things rich in functionally.
First-class goods, encounter with real is a joy of life.
Having your product is my pride and status.
I am expecting the best materials, skills and design products.
Thank you very much.

I used the strap for over 2 months (incl a week in Iceland, shooting days on end) now (d810/battery grip/24-70mm) and I can honestly say this is the most comfortable one I’ve ever used (incl peak design). I was sceptical at first, especially with the price tag, but this is the best investment in camera gear for a long time.
All my questions prior to my purchase were addressed promptly and professionally.
I can wholeheartedly recommend the product and the people behind it.

I’ve been using my westminster camera strap for nearly 2 years now. In that time it has never let me down. It has only become better and nicer to use. It is so incredibly soft. You will not believe how soft it gets after a while. A much needed thing after an 8 hours wedding! No more sore neck.

On Friday last week I ordered a couple of camera straps.
I am in New Zealand.
This morning (Wednesday following) I put the Westminster on my camera, where it will be staying.
Between Hawkesmill and DHL I’d say that’s pretty impressive.

Just a quick note to say that I received my new Hawkesmill camera strap. What a beautiful piece of art you have created. I love all of the subtle touches. Reminds me of the quality products the French and Italian luxury companies used to make in the 70s. But maybe more raw.
You should be commended!
Cheers from Australia
