About the Jermyn Street camera messenger bag
At Hawkesmill we are obsessed with the bucolic lifestyle. We believe we live in one of the most amazing countries in the world. England is renowned for its rolling countryside and green pastures. This is the bag we created as an homage to that lifestyle. We named it Jermyn Street to pay respect to the finest men’s shopping street in London, possibly the world.
The tweed flap is quintessentially British. Our Harris Tweed is woven in the Outer Hebrides by actual people, not machines. In fact, by statutory Act of Parliament, the weaving of Harris Tweed may only be done within the homes of the islanders. Furthermore, no automation is allowed. To this day, all Harris Tweed fabric is produced by human power and human power alone.
Pair this wonderful material with Italian bubble leather and you get a bag of unparalleled beauty and durability.

I’ve owned this bag for almost a year now. Having drawn many an admiring glance and comment, this is the bag that says ‘I am proud to be a photographer and I care about my equipment’.
I once spilled a cup of coffee all over this bag on takeoff of a flight. no-one nearby had any tissues, and I had to wait 20 minutes for the seatbelt sign to go off. When it finally did, the coffee hadn’t seeped into the fabric in any way. I think this demonstrates the build quality here. I’m very happy with my Jermyn.

I received my jermyn camera bag this afternoon and was really impressed with the beautiful presentation when opening the packing box.
You really must be complimented on the superb design it is a beautiful example of fine British craftsmanship .
The attention to detail is superb and all the components are of superb quality.
My Nikon D810 and lenses fit perfectly and are so easy to take in and out of the inner compartments it will be a joy to use.just one addition that I would like to see is a matching leather luggage tag designed in matching leather it would be a good accessory to have when travelling. I am sure it would not be difficult to produce.

I bought this bag because of a review I saw on FStoppers. This is the model they reviewed. The author of the review was extremely positive and basically thought it was the best camera bag on the market. So I had to see for myself. I visited Grays of Westminster in London to view their entire range and then purchased the Jermyn Street, which I liked the most. It fits my style and I have never seen a camera bag which looked like this one.
On the FStoppers review, the author responds to a reader’s comment that buying another premium camera bag and then buying this one is like sitting in a Mercedes and thinking there is no better car, until you sit in a Bentley. And then you understand what you’re missing. I totally agree! I never thought I’d have a better bag than my Billingham. I was so wrong. But I just didn’t know a bag could be this nice. It feels incredible. It is tight and well thought out. I can’t believe a bag could be designed this well. If you’re reading my review in order to help you make up your mind, stop right now and GET THIS BAG. You won’t be disappointed. It is so far above the rest it isn’t even a comparison.

Quite simply the finest bag I have ever come across! Not just finest camera bag, finest bag, period.
Tweed on a camera bag. Imagine that! But it works. It is really a beautiful piece of workmanship. But it isn’t dainty. This bag stands up to a beating and takes it like a champ, while looking smart the whole time. I would recommend this bag to anybody who likes nice things.

STUNNING BAG! Love it. There’s not much more I can add that already hasn’t been said. If you want the best camera messenger bag you can get, this is the one. Did I mention I LOVE IT!?!?

Top marks! I use this bag for work, travel and shooting. It’s a great product. No complaints! Follow the care guidelines and this should last you a long time!

Phenomenal camera bag! I love it so much I bought the small one too.
There literally are no other camera bags out there like this. I feel honored to be amongst those that know about this great company and I look forward to seeing what they come up with next!

I’ve owned my Jermyn Street since Hawkesmill launched. And I am just now getting to my review. I wanted to take it through its paces and see how it held up in the long term. And I can confidently say, this bag is one tough SOB!
On the surface it looks stylish and maybe a little dainty. But this thing is the toughest camera bag I own. And I own them all. I’ve not been easy on this bag and it looks better now after 16 months than it did when I bought it. Love the tweed! Love the leather! Don’t really love the weight, but I deal with it. Not a problem unless you’re carrying massive gear. I’m over the moon. Thank you!

Let’s face it, there are so many camera bags out there. And a lot of camera messenger bags. Some are rubbish, some are great, some are amazing. This is the latter!
It is a rare thing indeed to find a company like this, making such exquisite products, the slow, old fashioned way. I’m sure it would be a lot easier and more profitable to simply do what nearly every other brand does that makes anything, outsource it overseas and sell quantity rather than quality.
I was impressed with everything about this bag. From the customer service when I ordered, to the presentation when received and finally after a few weeks of using it. I have only ever seen this type of quality in very, very expensive luxury brands.
Very well done to you for creating such a fine bag at what I think is a very attractive price. I look forward to ordering from you in the future.

It took me nearly 2 years to finally pull the trigger and get myself one of these delicious camera bags. And I am sooooo happy I did.
Before you open that box and actually use this, you don’t know what you’re missing. After all, it’s a camera bag. How good or different can it be? Ohhhhhh boy, how wrong I was. This bag is built like a tank. I have never felt a bag as sturdy, or that feels this luxurious and put together. After a few months of use this is my main bag. I use it for everything.
WELL DONE GUYS! This bag is tops!

Wondeful! Thank you so much! Fast shipping and what an incredible camera bag. Top quality guys! I can’t wait to use it on my trip this summer!

I saw this bag at Harrods, London and HAD to have it! However, I didn’t have room in my case to take it home and was already over my allowance for baggage to bring on the plane. But I ordered it when I got home. And it is everything I thought it was when I saw it in Harrods.
This bag oozes class, ruggedness and, something that is rare in this world, a sense of place. You can tell when you see this bag that it represents the place it was made. The tweed, the canvas, the classic fittings.
I adore it. The fact that I can keep my gear safe in it and use it for other things as well is the icing on the cake. It really is the finest camera ( insert other uses bag) I’ve ever seen!

There are camera bags and then there are CAMERA BAGS! This is the latter. It is very easy to go on amazon and buy a cheap camera bag that will do everything you need it to do. And actually it will do that fairly well. But I am tired of all this cheap stuff that we buy.
So when I needed (not needed, wanted) a new camera bag, Hawkesmill was on my shortlist of companies to look at. After researching all the top photography sites, Hawkesmill came up tops for quality camera bags. And it does not disappoint. This thing is built incredibly well. Yet, it is so soft and luxurious.
It belongs in the window of an expensive store in Paris or something. It is just as good as any designer bag I have ever owned. Love love love it.
