Bond Street Camera Bag

• Fittings – Nickel. Custom, branded feet and trigger hooks.

• Methods used to open and close bag – turn lock for ease of use with one hand, front double leather straps and buckle for security. Turn lock is not load-bearing. Front straps should always be done up before picking the bag up by the handle.
• Removable insert – padded, can fit 15” MacBook. Can be removed so bag can be used as a weekend bag, carry-on bag, etc. Bottom feet are removable and can be replaced when worn.
• Handle is securely riveted to steel bar, running through top of flap. Rivets are used at every stress point, including: front straps, shoulder strap, turn lock and handle.
• What can the bag fit? 15″ MacBook Pro, one pro-DSLR body with lens attached, one 70-200 f2.8 lens, flash unit (or two lenses stacked with divider) and various accessories in front and rear pockets.

What can I say? Exactly as they say it is online. It’s just a great bag, holds my kit, doesn’t let it get wet and looks the business. Best camera bag I’ve ever owned. Only problem is, now I need one of your small bags so I can use it all the time, as this is a large bag and only needed when carrying my laptop, or loads of gear. Otherwise, perfect.

And what a camera bag this is! It is by far the most stylish and most luxurious camera bag I have ever had. Before purchasing this bag I went to my local camera shop to see what they had on offer. It was the same stuff I have been seeing for years. So I went online and looked for a camera bag that was more individual and special. And I found it.
I honestly cannot fault it in any way. It is slightly heavier than other bags, but there is nothing they can do about that. They use premium materials and that’s the tradeoff you get when you use high quality materials.

WOW! What an amazing bag. When I first heard of this company I was not really convinced. I mean how much better can this bag be than the Billingham equivalent? Well, I own 2 Billingham’s and I can fully attest that there is nothing similar about these two bags. My Hawkesmill Bond St is the finest bag I have ever owned. And I’m not just talking about camera bags.
I have owned just about every bag there is out there, at least once. And this is made in a very similar way to the best, most expensive bags I have ever bought. The only bags that come close are those from French and Italian fashion houses, that cost 3-10 times as much.
I can get all of my gear in this bag with room to spare. I love that is doesn’t have huge pockets everywhere. Instead this bag uses deeper slimline pockets. It’s a little on the heavy side, but you can expect any bag of this quality to be a bit heavier. I don’t care though. It has actually taught me to pack smarter. Instead of bringing everything under the kitchen sink, I only bring what I need.
Well done Hawkesmill. You have created a masterpiece!

I first came across this great company at The Photography Show in Birmingham. I walked past their booth and thought to myself, “Billingham copy.” I came back the next day and had one of the staff walk me through the bag for about 10 minutes. And I was blown away!
This camera bag is in a totally different league than anything else I’ve come across. It is a quality, handmade product that uses only the best materials and is really well thought out as a camera messenger bag. I walked away with one of their demo bags and have been using it ever since. It is definitely the nicest camera bag I own and I will quickly be selling the rest.

Ok please forgive the lenghty review, but this bag needs it. First of all, for those that don’t like to read entire reviews, let me say that this camera bag is the best bag I have ever seen and used. I spent weeks going into every camera store in London and finally settled on this bag. Here’s why:
The material they use for this bag is much finer and sexier than the material the other camera bag makers use. This is some serious stuff. I believe it’s got 3 layers and it feels like it.
The leather on this bag is right up there with Louis Vuitton and the rest of them. It is truly wonderful. Not like the cheap stuff used on ONA bags, or some of these other cheapies.
The design of the bag is straightforward and not complex. Everything is where is should be. I especially love the rear insert for my passport and memory cards. The removable main insert is top quality and I have taken it out many times to use this bag for traveling without my camera gear.
The front pockets hold a good amount, but it would be nice if they had pockets. Only needed if the bag falls over, things could spill. So far that hasn’t happened, but I think it would be a nice addition.
The shoulder strap is made from military grade webbing and is unline anything I’ve felt before. It is like something you’d find on a parachute, or Army belt. It’s crazy good.
It holds my 13″ laptop perfectly with room for a larger one.
Generally, this is just about the nicest bag I’ve come across. If you don’t believe me look at the other reviews online. The internet agrees, Hawkesmill make the best camera bags on Earth.
